What is THCa?
THCa, or tetrahydrocannabinolic acid, is naturally produced by the cannabis, or hemp, plant in the early stages of growth and maturation. It is the precursor to the well known tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). THCa is one cannabinoid that must be decarboxylated, or heated, to become psychoactive and produce the “high” traditionally associated with cannabis. If THCa is ingested it does not produce a psychoactive experience. The process of heating THCa using a lighter, torch, or vaporizer will convert it into Delta 9 THC. Delta 9 interacts with the CB1 and CB2 receptors of the endocannabinoid system similarly to other cannabinoids like Delta 8 THC, Delta 10 THC, HHC, THCP, and THCB, to produce an uplifting, euphoric effect with increased focus and energy. Love the GP from Cannabuddy.. However, this Oreoz strain just was not hitting for me. It reminds me of Mid-Grades from Mexico we used to get back in the early 90’s. Its bunk.
