- Measure 6 grams of ground kava per 1/2 cup of water and pour the kava into a strainer bag.
- Submerge the strainer bag in a bowl of water and knead it for 3 minutes, squeezing the root so the water turns cloudy.
- Pour it into a cup (a coconut shell if you’re feeling authentic) and drink it down in a few gulps. Kava is not a sipping drink.
